Ms. Rath is a wonderful 7th-grade ELA and honors ELA teacher. She is also our new volleyball coach for our 7th-grade players.
Ms. Rath went to two different colleges: the University of North Texas for her master’s of Education, and she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington. Before coming to McLean Middle School, she worked at HEB ISD, Pilot Point ISD, and Northwest ISD. She as well has been in the education industry for seven years. What made Ms. Rath come to McLean Middle School is that they had an opening for a second volleyball coach and also for a ELA teacher. When she got the offer, she was very excited and was ready to start a new chapter at a different ISD. Some interesting things about Ms. Rath are that she played competitive volleyball for thirteen years, played for her college, coached a team, and won nationals twice.
Ms. Rath is a fantastic ELA teacher, and we are glad to have her this school year! Be sure to make her feel welcome, and if you have any questions about volleyball, you can ask Ms.Rath.
