The first six weeks of school have come to an end. We are now moving into the second six weeks. Now that students have had time to adjust to school, students can focus on their academics, improve their grades, and work toward their goals. This new six-week period gives students another opportunity to grow throughout the school year.
October was an exciting month for students in music electives. Orchestra, choir, and band students performed in their concerts, sharing the results of their practice and preparation. Their hard work and dedication helped them get ready to impress audiences with their musical skills.
Students at McLean are also staying busy with sports and school activities, including cheerleading and football. These activities give students opportunities to build teamwork, practice their skills, and challenge themselves. Athletes are working hard as they prepare and support their teammates.
With the second six weeks complete, students are starting a new month with a fresh gradebook and a chance to begin again. As lessons move into new topics, our focus remains on academic growth and steady effort.
As the school year continues, students can keep improving, showing school spirit, and working toward their goals. The second six weeks challenged us Cardinals to think critically and helped us find our stride for the year.
