Welcome to the second Friday of the school year at McLean Middle School, AKA Frat Boy Friday. You might say, “Frat Boy Friday? Like a fraternity?” Yes! With the school year starting, some 8th-grade boys dressed up as “Frat Boys.”
A participant and organizer of Frat Boy Friday, Colby Cung, said, “It was a one-time thing because an artist never repeats his work.” Another “Frat Boy,” Thomas Holaday, states, “It was inspired by the Frats by the school.” When asked for her opinion on Frat Boy Friday, Vivian McMahon said, “I think it was a weird but funny thing to do,” which lots of girls around the school agree with!
Now, if you’re wondering, “What did they wear on Frat Boy Friday?” Well, some of these “Frat Boys” might be wearing khaki shorts, pastel and patterned polos, flip-flops, sunglasses, or holding duffel bags, as you can see in the photo above.
They say you have to dress for the job you want. These eighth graders made a memorable moment that will be remembered long after the polos and sunglasses are packed away for the dorms when they become real Frat Boys. They are getting that job.
