McLean, let’s give a happy welcoming to our new family communication specialist, Mr. Garcia, who is outstanding at his job here at McLean Middle. You might’ve seen Mr. Garcia without even knowing it. Mr. Garcia helps out a lot here at McLean. He helps monitor our lunches, outside, and our hallways during passing periods. He does this to keep our students safe. The main role that Mr. Garcia has here at McLean Middle School is he makes sure that all of our students have what they need to be successful here at McLean. We are thankful to have Mr. Garcia to help our students out he is wonderful at his job and we are glad he does more than what he needs to do.
Mr. Garcia did, in fact, go to three different colleges: ITT Technical Institute, The University of Texas at Arlington, and Southern New Hampshire University. Mr. Garcia worked as a technical theater teacher at Arlington Heights High School before he came to work at McLean Middle School. Mr. Garcia wanted to work at McLean because of the opportunity of trying something new and work with our wonderful new principal, Ms. Garcia. They previously worked together at Arlington Heights.
Some fun facts about Mr. Garcia are that he played in a mariachi, he is a DJ, he’s a photographer and videographer for weddings and quinceañeras, and, lastly, he runs a fantastic photo booth. We hope to see Mr. Garcia for many years to come here at McLean!
