Ms. Collard is one of our new ELA teachers for the 26/27 school year. Ms. Collard went to Texas Wesleyan University for her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. She also earned her undergraduate degree in English and theater. Before Ms. Collard came to McLean, she was working as a fantastic theater teacher at Nolan Catholic High School for thirteen years. An interesting fact is that this is her 31st year teaching. Ms. Collard came to McLean Middle School because she wanted to try something different with her teaching career. She has also heard a lot of amazing things about our school, which gave her another reason to want to come to McLean Middle School. Some fun facts about Ms. Collard are that she loves to travel, especially to New York City. She tap dances and also likes to sew. We are proud to say we have another wonderful ELA teacher that we are excited to make memories with!
