Mr. Williams, our new ELA teacher here at McLean, works with our wonderful 8th graders. This would be Mr. Williams’s fifth year teaching, but before that, Mr. Williams worked at Walmart for 14 years. Working at Walmart helped Mr. Williams develop skills in assassinating others. He was also a member of the City Teaching Alliance.
Mr. Williams was born and raised in Galveston County, TX. He graduated from Texas City High School. Mr. Williams attended Kilgore College, Southern New Hampshire, and The American University in Washington, DC. He earned an undergraduate degree and a Master of Arts in Education that focused on Culturally Relevant Pedagogy.
Mr. Williams is excited to start this new year; he is ready to provide education for the 8th graders here at McLean and a high-quality supporting environment for these students. Mr. Williams even has his own acronym, which is RAPID, which means responsible, accountable, participate with integrity, and decorum. Please welcome our new, wonderful Mr. Williams with great enthusiasm.
