Flashbacks to Elementary School

Everyone has that very special memory from elementary school. Good or bad, it is a big part
of your childhood.
“In art class, we were doing this project where we drew on black pieces of paper with crayon
and would paint over it, it would look like a giant highlighter” is what our CTE teacher, Ms. Paiz
says was her favorite memory from elementary school.
One of our more recently graduated elementary schoolers, Tex Chidgey says his best
memory from elementary school was playing football in 3rd grade, where he got 5 touchdowns!
A very different memory from Anaely Vega is when she and her friend pulled an all-nighter for
the first time in second grade.
Ms. Paiz, Tex, and Anaely all agree that four square and art class was a fun part of our earlier
years.
Our treasured memories from early years can give us a feeling of nostalgia that can help us
overcome a hard day. But we don’t stop making memories in elementary school, we make new
