Dino Knowledge Dig

Spencer Morgenweck

Most people don’t know many dinosaurs and usually only know famous dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus Rrex or Brachiosaurus this may be because they discovered them relatively early as Brachiosaurus was discovered in 1903 and T. rex was discovered in 1902. This doesn’t fully explain it though because Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, and Hylaeosaurus were some of the first to be discovered but very few people know about them.

Another theory is the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises. They have glorified some dinosaurs that were fairly obscure such as Velociraptor, stegosaurus, and gave a new look at older dinosaurs like T. Rex,  Brachiosaurus, and others. Unfortunately these depictions are very inaccurate

Other than the Jurassic series most other T.V. dinosaurs lack feathers and other features that some dinosaurs are thought to have in actuality.

Dinosaurs have often been misrepresented and have become not very well known. While paleontologists have views that are decades ahead of what most people think of dinosaurs, big lizards.
