On January 31st, 2025, Ms. Culpepper said goodbye and so did her students after a long 31 years at McLean and a total of 40+ years at FWISD. Ms. Culpepper taught 7th grade English, but did teach Latin classes in past years. Many students, both grown and current will always remember her impact on their academic journey throughout McLean.
7th Grader, Ali Klass, says “Ms. Culpepper is a great teacher and we are all sad to see her go. My favorite part about being in her class this year was reading The Outsiders.” 7th grader, Sailer Wielhe, says “Ms. Culpepper was always so energetic, even though she is at the ripe age of 95 years old. She still has a lot of spunk left in her!”
