Every month at the monthly teacher faculty meeting, Mrs. Ozuna announces the teacher of the month. The teacher of the month for September 2024 is Mr. Meadows! My friend Stevie and I asked him a few questions. Here is the scoop behind Mr. Meadows’ success.
In his ten years of teaching, this is Mr. Meadows’ first time winning teacher of the month. He feels awesome! “It feels good to be recognized for doing good work,” he said. His advice for teachers that want to win teacher of the month is to put students first, be a team player, and support your colleagues. I asked what he would say if he had to give a TedTalk to upcoming teachers. He said, “Trust your gut and enjoy what you do.” He loves science because he feels like he is in his own little corner of the world. If he got teacher of the year he says he would be even more excited! Stevie and I also asked him a bonus question, “What’s your favorite brainrot word?” we asked. “Rizz”, he stated confidently.
