The year has started off once again and with that, it means cross country time! With one cross country meet so far, the boys came in first with the girls coming in second. The 7th grade boy that came in first was Owen Tolbert. The 7th grade girl that won was Stella Simpson. The 8th grade boy that won was Alex Wills. The 8th grade girl that won, (with the same time as the 7th grade first place girl), was Annie Grills. Cross Country isn’t only about performance, our coaches also like to shine light on the teammates that show the most teamwork. The runner that showed the most teamwork for cross country was 8th grader, Charlotte Connelly. The next cross country meetup is this weekend(Anyone can come to this to run!). Let’s go cardinals!
