You may be wondering, what shows are we performing this year? Our UIL performance this year will be based on the glorious series: The Giver. Our Musical will be the fabulous: Finding Nemo The musical, and lastly, our current play: Everyone Gets Eaten By Sharks. Now what’s our current play about you might ask? Let me tell you. The “famous explorer” Adventure Dan meets Bonnie or as he calls her, Sweet Bonnie. He tells her all of the ways not to get eaten by sharks, with examples of course.
You might like theater, but not acting. Maybe you’re more interested in working backstage, and that’s amazing. If you’re a techie or work backstage, you’re the backbone of the theater and much appreciated. Myaybe you’re more interested in being in charge of things, just like a stage manager which is also a very important job. If any of these things above interest you, consider joining the stage crew! It’s a great experience and lots of fun.
For more book interested people, I suggest auditioning for our UIL performance: The Giver. I am currently reading this book and I gotta say, it’s pretty good. I think participating in this play would be a fun and new experience for everyone!
Now for our musical, Finding Nemo is amazing. If you want to audition for this you can sometime in the spring. Its going to be a sectacular show and you will aprecuate it ten times more if you’re in it! If you love to sing and dance this is the perfect show for you. With Elf The Musical’s amazing performance last year we can only expect an amazing performance from Finding Nemo The Musical aswell.
