TCU Football is a very communal thing here in Fort Worth. It brings people together and this is something I have experienced firsthand as a very priveleged child who has been taken to most of the home games since 2011. Whilst this first game of the season won’t be at home, we can still watch on our TVs and see how our team looks.
From what the team has told us, TCU Football is looking fairly good right now. On the injuries side of things, running back, Cam Cook has “a little bit of a hamstring issue” currently, Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star Telegram says. From what we know he is resting right now to be in shape for the game. We don’t know yet if this will be a critical hit to our team, as Sam is most likely a starter this year and repacing Bud Clarke from last year’s team. There are also a few other more minor injuries among the rest of the team.
Fox Sports suspects that the TCU Horned Frogs will beat the Stanford Cardinals at a score of 34 to 25. The game will be held at 9:30 PM Friday, August 30, 2024. Unless your’e traveling to Stanford to watch this game, make sure to tune into ESPN to watch the game over this long weekend. Go Frogs!
