Former McLean Middle School student, Kendall Ebelling, from k-pop group, VCHA, is now on a rise to fame. Right now, Kendall is 17 and was at McLean from 2019-2021. When Kendall was still at school here, she participated in Choir and Cross Country. At the moment, she’s living in Los Angeles with other members of her girl group.
VCHA was formed in 2023 and has had a quick rise to fame. They have more than 600k monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 600k subscribers on Youtube. Their most popular song is called “The One” and has over 3 million streams on Spotify.
Besides their singing, all of the girls in the group are also very talented dancers and have many music videos out on Youtube, the most popular being “Y.O. Universe” with over 16 million views.
The group VCHA came to be after eight girls all competed on reality tv show, A2K, which is a survial reality tv show where the goal is to try to stay until the end and be cast in the final group.
The final group was then turned into an American-k-pop singing group, VCha, while getting training by professionals.
Congratulations to Kendall! All the current staff and students are so proud of her, especially Mr. Torres! The only question now is, who’s next?
