Well, it’s about that time! Personally, nothing gets me more into the holiday spirit more than watching holiday movies and shows. Here are some of the favorites:
Home Alone – PG: A bratty kid names Kevin always finds a way to stir up trouble in his household. After causing a scene the day before him and his family leave for the airport to go visit family in France, Kevin wishes he could make his family disappear. The next morning, he gets his wish! His family accidently leaves him at home and head to the airport, barely making their flight, unaware that their youngest child is still at home!
Christmas With The Kranks – PG: With their daughter away, the Kranks decide to save money and go on a relaxing romantic cruise, to skip Christmas! They believe that if their daughter isn’t there to celebrate Christmas with them, why should they even celebrate it? Their decision doesn’t sit well with their neighbors, friends, basically everyone they know, but they decide to just hold on until the cruise. Last minute, they recieve a call from their daughter saying she’s gonna be coming home for Christmas! The Kranks then desperately plan to organize Christmas Eve in time for their daughter in one night!
Spirited – PG-13: With the one and only Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds, a hilarious classic of A Christmas Carol is spiraled into a magnificant, comedic, musical.
Elf – PG: Unaware that he is human, a certain elf, named Buddy, realizes that he’s no good at making toys and is always towering over his fellow elves. When he gets the knews that he isn’t from the North Pole, Buddy heads to New York in search of his biological father to live the rest of forever, forever, and forever with.
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – PG-13: Clark would love nothing more than to have an “old-fashioned Griswold Family Christmas.” When things don’t go as planned, many things, he fights to keep the peace and his sanity…and miserably fails.
A Christmas Story – PG: Ralphie only has one wish for Christmas: “A Red Ryder Range 200 Shot BB gun!” His attempts to convice his parents that it’s the perfect Christmas present for boys. The only response he seems to get is “YOU’LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT!”
8-Bit Christmas – PG: In 1980s Chicago, Jake Doyle sets out on a bizarre adventure to get the Christmas gift of his generation…the latest and greatest video-game system! He must fight till the end to get the number 1 gift and ignore his family’s “no video games” policy.
The Grinch 2018 – PG: The Grinch goes on a mission to erase and steal Christmas from all of Who-Ville!
White Christmas – NOT RATED: Famous singers Bob Wallace and Phil join dancing sister act Bettyand Judy Haynes to perform a Christmas show in Vermont. Soon they come across General Waverly, the boys’ commander in World War II, who is having financial difficulties So what’s more obvious to do than put plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that’s sure to put his business back into business!
