- First things first, put on some comfy clothes that you love. If you’re wearing something uncomfortable, it can be hard to focus on your work.
- I’m sorry to say this, but remove yourself from distractions while studying. Your phone, Xbox, TV, etc.
- Take breaks! I believe this is very important because you can get over stressed and need time to actually process the information and come back to it. Study for maybe 30-45 then pull out those distractions to reward yourself for 15 minutes, then get back to studying. This will help a lot!
- Study in a quiet, organized place so you can really focus and be calm with your environment.
- Eat and hydrate while studying. It brings comfort and its multitasking!
- This just works for me and it may not work for you and that’s okay. I personally love to listen to calming music while I study or work, but if this distracts you, no need to use it.
- BE CONSISTENT! Set an exact time everyday to study and work a bit. Don’t get lazy. Your brain will soon get used to your study time and it will be less torturing.
