Tuesday’s football game had us all at the edge of our seats with a 7th-grade score of  Mclean – 6 and  Wedgewood – 0  and an amazing 8th Grade score of  Mclean – 14 and Wedgewood – 0. Both our 7th and 8th-grade teams made the first play of course, and although the teams were both good sports, we had 2 injuries and 2 minor injuries

From cheerleader Alexis Duron’s perspective:

“Although I could not see it because I was cheering for the crowd, I saw a glimpse of what happened, I saw someone being tackled and they weren’t able to get up.“

8th grade player, John Paul Pritchett, said, “winning felt exhilerating. I knew we could do it from the start if we really put our minds to it.”
