Get to Know Mrs.Dressel our new Librarian

Mrs. Sharon Dressel is our new librarian.  She has been a librarian for 17 years, and this is her 1st year here at McLean. Her favorite part of her job is ¨the kids¨ she said. She also said that what interested her about being a librarian is that she loves to read and share that joy with others. “I get to do that in this job and its the best job in this world and I get to teach and I get to do all those things that a teacher does as well.¨

She grew up in Louisiana, but she was born in Illinois and then she came to Texas. Other than reading and being a librarian she loves to sing at her church. She loves to listen to many types of music including alternative, pop, metal, and many more. Mrs. Dressel is the best librarian we could ask for. She also helps with Chromebooks which is something really time consuming. If you ever need a new Chromebook or a book to read you know were to go, to the LIBRARY!
