Niagara Falls

Sophie Barnett

Planning your next vacation and no idea where to go? Want to see a national landmark? Niagara Falls is on the bucket list of many and for a good reason. It is a collection of 3 waterfalls on the Niagara River. This natural wonder is huge, running about 180 feet high and 1,100 wide.

To see these beautiful waterfalls up close, the Maid of the Mist is a popular boat ride choice. Make sure to wear a poncho!

A story shared among tourists is when one very determined school teacher named Annie Edson Taylor went over the falls in a barrel back in 1910! She was the first person to do it successfully.

To end your day, make sure to check out the Maid of the Mist gift shop for a souvenir.
