10 Ways to Go Green

In our everyday life there are many different ways to help our schools, communities, and cities. Whether it’s using solar panels, turning off the lights when you’re not using them, or even just being kind to one another, there are so many ways to make the world a better place.Today we will look at are 10 different ways to help you go green and reduce, reuse, recycle.

  • use reusable things. For example; reusable bags, water bottles, etc.
  • turn off your phone, computer, lights, etc. if not in use
  • stop rinsing off your dishes before putting them in the washing machine
  • attempt using public transportation, walking, riding a bike, or running
  • buy your products in bulk. Can reduce packaging and cost!
  • make a homemade compost bin (leftover food)
  • use cloth instead of paper towels when cleaning. You can use old clothes as cloths
  • stop pre-heating your ovens when not necessary
  • cut your shower time in half
  • reuse scrap paper, and when done recycle it!

Those are just a few ways to go green! There are so many other options you can do, just don’t forget to REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE!
